SRS 4024 CLAY BODY DESIGN

Students will obtain the basic design knowledge in accordance with producing a ceramic clay body. Students will obtain, through

an introduction of clay and raw materials specific to ceramics, the understanding of specified clay types. Students will understand and utilize the triangle diagram as well as calculations of chemical and mineralogical compounds to produce specific clay bodies. Students will obtain the theoretical and applied research knowledge to test and analyze an intended product.
