The Department of Ceramics and Glass started education and training in 1987-88 academic year. The education and training program of the Department of Ceramics and Glass was prepared by taking into consideration the undergraduate programs of universities teaching in this branch and the secondary education conditions in our country. In the first year of this four-year program, there are theoretical, art and culture courses other than applied courses such as Basic Art Education and Ceramic Design, and in the second year, the workshop and technology courses started in the first year are intensified and practical courses are added. From the third year onwards, education and training is carried out with both theoretical and applied disciplines for a specific art formation and ceramic professional formation,

b ) Industrial Ceramic Design,

The education and training ends with a graduation project, and the students are oriented towards professional specialties such as vocational specialization.
