The Department of Editing, Sound, and Cinematography aims to educate students in their respective fields with a high level of knowledge and skills. In line with this goal, we introduce students to fundamental and contemporary theoretical artistic and aesthetic approaches relevant to their fields. We aim to educate students who can apply and utilize editing, sound, cinematography, color design, lighting, camera techniques, and emerging technologies.
Vision:
Driven by the vision of becoming a separate department, the Department of Editing, Sound, and Cinematography completed this process with the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Taking into account the changes occurring in technology and aesthetics, our department strives to maintain a dynamic program, fostering students’ development in different areas of expertise from design to post-production. We aim to enhance students’ approaches in various specialized fields throughout every stage, from the design phase to post-production.
