Stage Design

Stage Design Program aims to train future stage designers who to obtain required knowledge and skills to solve all technique and aesthetic problems of set and stage settings for performing and visual arts such as theater, opera-ballet, television and cinema. Stage design students are to take theoretical and practical courses like set, costume, make-up, stage lighting, drafting, materials, stage effects, puppet and shadow techniques, movement for puppetry and digital designs in stage arts etc. which are required to design for all fields mentioned above. Instructors of the program follow academic, scientific and technologic progress nationally and internationally to train students to be equipped well. Knowledge that is gathered throughout the year takes form as practice (1 full length play, 4 short plays production and Set-Sketch-Model Exhibition within March 27 th Theater Week Activities) that are presented to the audience. Graduates of Stage Design Program can easily find careers in or out of the country as a result of the wide range of classes contain puppet making, manipulating, installations, shop window design, fair booth design and furniture design within the education.
