FASHION APPAREL DESIGN DEPARTMENT EDUCATION COMMISSION

Purpose and Scope:
Based on the mission and vision of Dokuz Eylul University, Faculty of Fine Arts, and Department of Fashion Clothing Design, the purpose of the Fashion Apparel Design Department Education Commission is to make a creative and innovative contribution to art and design at the national and international level, observe ethical values, and conduct interdisciplinary research. The department is conducting, updating, and improving the training programs.
Duties, Powers, and Responsibilities of the Commission:
The Commission performs the following tasks.
Monitors the theoretical and practical educational activities of the branches of art in relation and cooperation with each other, identifies the problems related to education and evaluates the solutions. In line with these studies, it proposes changes in the curriculum and the Instructional Plan.
It may establish sub-committees/working groups when necessary. regularly evaluated.
The education commission meets at least 4 (four) times a year, at the beginning and end of the academic year. It organizes the meetings to be held by announcing the agendas related to education, reports and transmits these reports to the administrative units, departmental lecturers and students when necessary.
In line with the decisions and improvements made, it ensures that updates are made in the curriculum or training programs in each academic term.
Establishment of the Commission and Election of Members
The members of the commission are composed of the Head of the Department, the Deputy Head/Vice Presidents of the Departments and the Heads of the Departments.
